In a city striving to define itself among major metropolitan areas, singer-songwriter Jacob Furr is writing the first contemporary drafts of the Fort Worth Sound. Indeed, the vocalist known for his “rich, haunting vocal tone” (Dallas Observer) was inspired to write his first songs in 2006 after seeing In The American West at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art.
